Though I do not do much of it, I find fashion photography very interesting. One can almost accurately pin point a period in time just by looking at the way people wear garments. For example, like in the work of Richard Avedon. However, fashion is nothing without the people who wear them. A thought shared by the late illustrious Peter Lindbergh. I happen to also think that fashion is more about the attitude and energy of the wearer. And if it’s energy you want, Chanel (who got introduced to me by Yoselin) has got tons. I’m usually more laid back on set which is a clear sign of me forecasting every single shot. I did not need to give Chanel any energy boost, she came with her own. She is tall, flexible, adorn with a gorgeous head of hair, and did I mention energetic? This was our first shoot, and I hope to do more.
