Boudoir Photography Session with Mexican beauty Grisel
Polanco, Mexico City, Mexico | December 9th, 2018
Boudoir photography is about comfort in your own skin, sensuality, elegance, and empowerment. One thing I experience first hand every time I go to Mexico, is that the women there are strong, sexy and empowered. Luckily, I traveled once again to Polanco in Mexico City due to a work-related assignment on short notice. I was quite pleased with my previous experience shooting with Marilyn on my last visit, so I made sure to pack plenty of Kodak Tri-X film stock and the faithful Pentax67 hoping to work with another lovely soul.
I was very happy with my hotel room because it had large windows, quite a sizeable sliding door, and had very nice rustic furniture pieces. The lighting that fell through the windows was very soft, even, and romantic. It was perfect for a boudoir session.
The next day, after a few hours of research on various websites, I found Grisel. We connected and chatted a little. Come to find out, we shared a great appreciation for film photography. She had such great energy and enthusiasm and that was plenty enough to convince me to book her for this session. When we finally met, I discovered a very soft-spoken and charming young lady. She smiled a lot and was just oozing of elegance and sensuality. I appreciated how comfortable she was with herself. She understood how to gauge how much to give to the camera.
