I’m a 90’s fan, well, I guess it’s because I grew up in the 90’s. But I happen to also think that this was the last great era of everything. Movies, music, fashion, and art. Whole fashion spreads were still shot on film and models from that time were just unfairly and almost out of this world naturally beautiful. I mean, how can we forget the likes of Elle Macpherson, Cheryl Tiegs, Tyra Banks, and Kathy Ireland? I’ll wait for you unfortunate unknowing to Google those names.
In my work as a developing photographer in city like Miami, I find myself not particularly interested in swimwear, because it is quite the saturated genre. But I wanted to give it a try, but while paying homage to the early days of Swimsuit Photography. The kind of photography that celebrates the art of that uniquely American institution. Enters Yoselin, who turned out to be perfect for this. She is young, tall, dedicated to her craft, and uniquely gorgeous. She is this sort of unrefined gem that I believe will develop into one stunning model. Our session took place at Crandon Park on a rather cold and early morning, but we powered through it. The resulting photographs left me speechless. I am sure we will be seeing more of Yoselin in the near future.
